Maliere is an enigma... A Master Jewellery Maker from France creating stunning designs in his workshop in Ireland. From an early apprenticeship in Paris, Maliere stood head and shoulders above the other Craftsmen, creating stunning pieces that quickly earned him quite a reputation even within one of the world's best known jewellery-making firms. Before long he was head of his section, designing and crafting unique one-off rings specifically wedding rings, engagement rings and other jewellery in gold and platinum with diamonds.

And then it becomes a little cloudy. Love came to town and Maliere disappeared. A couple of years later he resurfaced in Ireland, happy, freshly inspired and making some truly astonishing pieces from a small workshop in Dublin. Before long he was in demand once again and expanded to what he feels is the perfect level: 2 assistants now work with Maliere - any more and he feels he would lose control of the vision he has for each creation.

For this site, Maliere has chosen jewellery from around the world that he feels represents his art to the fullest. He has crowned this collection with a range of contemporary and unique jewellery he has designed himself and made with his assistants using traditional jewellery making tools. All of his creations are hallmarked in the Assey office in Dublin Castle, one of the oldest and strictest Assey offices in the world.
