Is www.maliere.ie secure?

On our site we have installed SSL – this stands for Secure Sockets Layer, and it is the industry standard method for protecting web communications developed by Netscape Communications Corporation. The SSL security protocol provides data encryption, server authentication, message integrity, and optional client authentication for a TCP/IP connection.

You will see as you go through our order process that you are buying on a secure site. This means your privacy is protected and your credit card details are encrypted through the ordering process. You should see a small key (Netscape) or lock (Internet Explorer) indicating that your browser is communicating securely with our web store.

How can I pay for my order?

Prices can be displayed in 3 currencies i.e Euro, Dollor or Sterling. Please choose the currency you wish to pay in. Payment on the site is by credit card – Visa or MasterCard and laser. If you are uneasy about sending your credit card details online, please email us at ian@maliere.com, send us your contact details and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

All EU customers will have to add 21% to the price of their goods during the ordering process.

How is the jewellery presented?

All items are presented in a jewelry box. The jewelry box will then be placed in a delivery package.

What about taxes and duties?

All prices quoted for products on our site are free of Irish taxes. Valued Added Tax (V.A.T 21%) will be applied to any order delivered within the European Union. Any duties and taxes applied by Countries and Governments outside the European Union are the responsibility of the customer. If duties apply, our delivery agent will contact you with information on how to make the payment.

Can I receive a copy of your newsletter?

We will send roughly 4 newsletters per year will info and promotions.
You can receive a copy by adding your email address to the newsletter box on the home page. You can unsubscribe by simply clicking unsubscribe on the base of the newsletter.

Can I cancel an order and return the goods?

At Maliere all our products are finished according, not only to our own high standards but each piece that we produce is individually tested and hallmarked.

The customer has the right to cancel an order within seven days of their contract with us, or seven days of receipt of the goods provided that merchandise is still in its original condition (whichever is the longer). If you decide to cancel your order, please email us at ian@maliere.com detailing your reasons for the return. You must also supply your Order_ID so that we can cancel the order and refund the transaction.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning any goods and the original cost of delivery is non-refundable. This does not apply to damaged goods.

Do you keep my details private?

Maliere does not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
